Raymond J. Abdo, DPM
Dr. Raymond Abdo’s specialty is Podiatric Medicine and Surgery focusing on advanced wound healing. He has over 20 years in clinical practice. He has held multiple leadership positions in healthcare.
Dr. Abdo is the current Chief of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Mercy Hospital – South. He currently serves as a consultant for numerous wound care companies, including Organogenesis, Integra LifeSciences, and Reprise Biomedical. Dr. Abdo is a well-recognized key opinion leader in wound healing and speaks at multiple national conferences regarding advanced wound healing initiatives and medical devices.
Dr. Abdo has published wound related articles in Podiatry Today, Diagnostics, Wounds, and the Journal of Wound Care. He is board certified in wound care from the American Board of Wound Management.
Dr. Abdo serves on the Task Force Committee at Most Sacred Heart Church in Eureka, MO. He also serves as head coach for one of the soccer teams at Most Sacred Heart School.
Dr. Abdo earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology at Creighton University. His Doctorate is from the School of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, Des Moines University, Medicine & Health Sciences. He completed his podiatric surgical residency at Forest Park Hospital in Saint Louis, MO, where he currently practices.
